Whipping Pants: A Chicago Hope Community
...and you know I do...you'll be in TV heaven in the coming weeks. Not only does she reprise her role as the gay son's lover's homophobic mother (I think? I don't watch the show...I just remember that she played a person that I wouldn't want to share a meal with) on Brothers and Sisters, but she'll be on Private Practice starting next week: |
How does once-upon-a-time love interest Pete (Tim Daly) feel about this turn of events? "I don't know! You'll have to ask Pete!"
Actually a little birdie (not named Pete, Tim, Kate or Addy) tells me that beginning next week, Pete has a dalliance of his own.
Yep, he'll be hooking up with a pretty physician named Meg, played by Jayne Brook, who works with Doctors Without Borders.
As she is a doctor, I'm going to make the vastly wrong assumption that she's playing the same character. My guess is that Billy jumped out another window of a burning building to save his new dog, Schmordy, but this time he died. Awwww. In a tribute to his memory, Diane joins Doctors Without Borders. Then she can come to LA to get some acupuncturing doctoring from Dr. Pete. I hope she's wearing knee length floral print skirts. She won't be wearing them with tights and sweaters, as it is set in Los Angeles, but she could wear the skirts. I don't think Diane updated her look since the 90s. I don't know why she has changed her name to "Meg". Any suggestions?
(Hey look! This group is still alive! You'll probably only hear from me again when Mandy Patinkin sings in Skokie, IL in late December, but you know, it's not like there's a whole hell of a lot of Chicago Hope news out there. I get Jayne Brook google updates every day about Gattica being on BlueRay. And I still am subbed to them. All for you.)
